In the glorious city of Rostov-on-don

On May 7, Ilya Yurievich Zhilyakov, editor-in-chief of the RIOR Publishing Center, visited Rostov-on-Don with a short visit to his small homeland.
First of all, he visited the “alma mater” — Southern Federal University. During the meeting with the team of law faculty at SFU the editor-in-chief presented to his long-term and honored author, Doctor of Laws, Professor Valentin Yakovlevich Lyubashitsa, with the monograph “The Evolution of the State: Historical Dynamics and Theoretical Model”, newly published in 2019.
Along with other issues, the inclusion of the journal VAK "Advances in Law Studies", published by RIOR, into the international scientific base of SCOPUS was discussed. Professor V.Ya. Lyubashits is a member of the editorial board of the journal and its regular author.
Then Ilya Yuryevich met with teachers and students of the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication of the SFU. With great pleasure, he personally handed diplomas to the winners of the III All-Russian competition for the best academic and educational publication “Academus”. They were the authors of the textbook “Historical grammar of the Russian language” Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Theory of Language and Russian Language Department of the SFU Sheiko Elena Vladimirovna and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Russian Language Department of the SFU Panteleev Andrey Feliksovich.
In his informational message I.Yu. Zhilyakov spoke about the unique services provided by the publishing center of the RIOR Information Center, discussed with the interested audience the present and the future of the national academic book publishing.
Also on this day, the chief editor met with the chairman of the editorial board of the magazine “Construction and Architecture”, Honored Builder of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Don State Technical University Mayilyan Levon Rafaelovich.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of issues related to the submission procedure for the inclusion of the journal "Construction and Architecture" in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in the fall of the current year. All the necessary preliminary work has already been done. The magazine fully meets the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission, it remains only to wait for the release of the second issue for 2019.
Following the meeting with the leadership of the Don State Technical University, a decision was made on information partnership. Starting with the next issue of the journal, the name of the university will appear on its title page.
