The scientific paper presents the results of 2025, indicating the need for a choice: either the country's economy will be focused on ensuring its long-term development and strengthening sovereignty, or it will continue to follow formal indicators such as "overheating", "cooling" and combating inflation, which do not reflect the real state of affairs in strategically important industries. The study reveals the direct impact of the state economic model on the dynamics of the development of the Russian pipe industry. As a constructive alternative, it is proposed to review the role of the state in stimulating the industrial sector, with an emphasis on studying and adapting the successful experience of the PRC in the field of sectoral planning and government support for key industries. In order to achieve sustainable financial independence and realize the potential of economic development of the state, it is necessary to ensure the unity of interests of the Government of the Russian Federation, representatives of the business community and the Central Bank, aimed at shaping new, long-term prospects and priorities in economic policy. This involves the development and implementation of coordinated measures aimed at stimulating investment, supporting innovation, and creating a favorable business climate that promotes the growth of the competitiveness of the Russian economy in the global market.
