The aim of the study is to assess the economic effect of integrating IoT solutions into digital platforms of the mineral-resource and fuel-and-energy sector of BRICS+ countries, with the identification of operational and platform-based channels of value creation. Methods: The study uses a review analysis of publications from 2021–2026, content analysis of corporate, financial, integrated, and ESG reports of companies, comparative-analytical decomposition, a systems approach, and classification. The empirical base includes a purposive sample of companies from 11 BRICS+ countries representing the mining, metallurgical, oil and gas, and energy industries. Results: It was established that the effect of IoT integration is formed through increased productivity, reduced resource and operating costs, strengthened industrial safety, and optimized logistics coordination. The corporate cases demonstrated heterogeneous disclosure of IoT effects: from quantitative indicators of predictive monitoring, loss prevention, and process automation to infrastructure and production indicators. Conclusions: The key condition for strengthening the effect is the transition from local monitoring to interoperable digital platforms that transform production telemetry into managerial decisions. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed decomposition to assess the digital transformation of resource industries in BRICS+ countries.
