The article examines the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence systems for forecasting socioeconomic imbalances in regional development. The concept of algorithmic monitoring based on the integration of statistical and digital data is substantiated. It is shown that machine learning methods make it possible to identify early signs of economic stagnation as well as demographic and labor imbalances. The results can be used to improve the effectiveness of territorial development management in Russian regions.
