This article examines the influence of digital interaction between the state and business on the socio-economic development of regions, using the subjects of the Central Federal District as a case study. The author substantiates the selection of factors of an administrative-managerial, economic, and technological nature. Based on the author’s methodology using the Digital Trust Index (DTI), the Digital Maturity Index, and indicators of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) participation in public procurement, a correlation analysis was conducted. The results confirm a strong direct relationship between the level of digitalization of public-private interaction and key economic indicators such as gross regional product (GRP), quality of life, and the development of the IT sector. Regional differentiation is identified, and the need for a differentiated approach to the implementation of digital policy is substantiated.
