The article deals with the classification of harm caused to human health. Attention is drawn to the fact that the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation does not provide a definition of harm, which is, meanwhile, one of the most common terms in the Code, there is no stable list of types of harm caused to human health, and the designations of types of harm often overlap in their scope. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop a classification of harm caused to human health, which would reflect all possible aspects of crimes of the corresponding category.
