The article examines traditional spiritual and moral values in the context of the peculiarities of the development of information technologies using the example of virtual universes. The authors emphasize that within the framework of the digital transformation of society and the development of information technologies, the issue of traditional values affects the most important aspect for national security related to the protection of digital sovereignty and civic identity. It is proposed to develop its own state model of the virtual universe, which should contribute to the formation of a secure information space that allows society and the state to develop, taking into account strategic objectives in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence, while preserving traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.
