500 ## _$aThe monograph presents the results of the study of the current state of psychological support for students of pedagogical universities. Based on the analysis of scientific papers, various approaches to the study of the phenomenon of "maladaptation" among student youth are considered, risk factors and indicators of the development of maladaptive and other vulnerable psychological states of students are identified, and categories of students who need special attention from the psychological service of an educational organization of higher education due to the high risk of vulnerability (development) of maladaptation are described. The monograph presents the results of monitoring the organization of psychological support of an educational organization of higher education under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, conducted in 2023. Based on theoretical and empirical data, a technology for identifying risk groups among students in higher education programs is proposed, and variable models of psychological service in a pedagogical university are proposed. The monograph is addressed to representatives of the administration of educational organizations of higher education, employees of psychological services, students in pedagogical and psychological areas of training, and will also be of interest to a wide range of readers.
